On the day

Here are some tips to help you plan your trip to iFLY.

;

Before you travel to iFLY

  • Fill out your waiver online
  • Dress in comfy clothes (shirts without collars are best)
  • Wear lace-up trainers
  • Bring a hairbrush if you have long hair
  • Don’t forget to bring any vouchers you may have been given (if applicable)*

Remember that your iFLY flight is like a normal flight; if you miss it, it's gone. Make sure you leave in good time.

*If you’ve redeemed a voucher (issued by iFLY directly or by one of our Gift Experience Partners) please remember to bring the original hard-copy voucher with you on the day.

;

At iFLY (45 mins before your flight)

  • Arrive at iFLY 45 mins before your flight
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
  • Meet your instructor
  • Ask about High-Flight if you are interested
  • Gear up and Q&A with your instructor
  • Make your way to the flight chamber

What is High-Flight?
Your instructor may be able to fly you high, right up into the tunnel, spinning as you go! This is available as a £10 optional extra on some flights. Ask your instructor for details.

Flight time

It’s flight time - don't forget to smile

  • When it’s your turn the instructor will call you up
  • You’ll gently lean into the airflow and then whoosh… you’ll be flying!
  • Wave to your family and friends who’ve come to watch!
  • Whilst you’re flying, our wind controller will be taking snaps of you mid-flight
  • They’ll be available to purchase at reception immediately after your flights
  • Itching to fly again?*

*At the end of the session you may be asked by your instructor whether you’d like to go back in again for an extra flight at a reduced cost - subject to availability.

Are you ready for the High-Flight?

Here’s the lowdown:

  • The High-Flight is an exhilarating optional extra to your iFLY flight experience.
  • It consists of the instructor, during your flight, guiding you up and down the tunnel while spinning you around.
  • Customers generally love it!

But please note the following:

  • Availability will be advised by your instructor on the day. High-Flight requires additional advanced training, which not every instructor will have undertaken at the time of your flight.
  • And because of the skill and the extra wind power involved, there is a charge of £10.
  • If you have any questions about the High-Flight, just ask your friendly instructor during your briefing.
;

After you fly

  • WOW, AMAZING, SENSATIONAL
  • There’ll be some back-slapping, high-fiving and smiles all round!
  • Your instructor will debrief you on how you flew
  • View and purchase the photos and videos of your flight if you want them
  • Book again for your next flight (at a massively reduced rate)
  • Don’t forget to pay for your High-Flight and any other extra flights before you leave
