2020 Australian Open

Event Postponed

Sadly, due to COVID-19, we have made the tough decision to postpone the 2020 Australian Open to a more suitable date in early 2021 to allow competitiors to train and to ensure that the event is accessible for people right around Australia and the world without travel restrictions impeding attendance.

We will look to hold a fun mini-competition or State event inplace of the 2020 Australian Open, and will have further updates over the coming months on a revised date for the event.
More details coming soon; stay update on the ISA Flight Club Facebook page and our e-newsletters.

The 2020 Australian Open is shaping up to be our best one yet! Previously over 2 massive days, this year, we're making it over 3! This means, there's more fun to be had, more time to compete, more opportunity to be in multiple categories, and, drum roll please....earlier finishes!

News & Updates

We have a couple of changes to this years competition, check them out below and keep an eye on the Flight Club Facebook page for the latest information:

  1. We are introducing Solo Speed and 8-way Formation Skydiving to the competition! We have opened registrations for both events, however as per our standard rules, we need a minimum of 3 teams in each to go ahead.
  2. We have special Early Bird Training Packs - which could save your team up to $700! Register via the links below, then get in touch with us to setup your account.
  3. We will be having 1 prize ceremony this year. What does that mean? One prize, one podium, and one set of medals per category. All participants must nominate which country they are competing for at the time of registering for the event. The highest two ranking Australian teams in the open categories will still be eligible to represent Australia at the World Championships.

Early Bird registrations are now OPEN!

By registering early, not only do you save on the cost of rego, but you also have access to one of our first ever "Early Bird Training Packs"! Grab some discounted time for your team to train in the lead up to the event - find out more underneath the below the registration panel.
